Dr. Ema Prohic is a highly accomplished dental surgeon and orthodontist with a distinguished academic and clinical background across Europe and North America. She currently practices as an orthodontist in both the United Kingdom and Spain, where she brings a refined approach to modern orthodontic treatment, integrating advanced diagnostics, aesthetic planning, and patient-centered care.
Dr. Prohic obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, where she was actively involved in academic and leadership roles, including serving as President of the Croatian Dental Students’ Association and delegate to the European Dental Students’ Association. She later pursued advanced international education, completing a Master of Science in International Health Management at Imperial College Business School in London, focusing on healthcare innovation, policy, and strategy.
Her clinical training includes experience at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and postgraduate specialization in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at the European Dental Institute in Barcelona. Her orthodontic expertise spans fixed and removable appliances, clear aligner systems such as Invisalign and Spark, and lingual orthodontics (WIN system), offering patients at Peter Brash Dental Care tailored treatment rooted in both function and facial harmony.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Prohic has contributed to public health initiatives, serving as an intern with the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar and leading the development of oral health campaigns. She is also deeply engaged in global outreach and education through her work with the NGO Dentistsworld, organising dental missions and awareness campaigns in underserved communities, including Zanzibar.
With a multilingual background — fluent in Croatian, English, and Spanish, Dr. Prohic offers a welcoming, inclusive environment for patients from diverse backgrounds.
